Manager - Alternative Sales Channels Department

We are looking for a new colleague for leading the Alternative Sales Department in the Directorate, a great people manager that is going to shape OTP’s relationship with partners (3rd party sales).


Your profile

  • Relevant (min. 3 years) experience in retail banking sales, preferably in external / 3rd party sales;

  • Previous experience in team coordination;

  • Abilities to synthesize and correlate relevant information and present them in a structured way to the bank's management;

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels;

  • Strategic and critical thinking; result oriented (with a proven track record of relevant sales achievements, wide network in alternative sales);

  • Dynamic personality with sales attitude who can cope with the continuous challenges on a highly competitive market;

  • Willing to travel and negotiate with potential partners on their premises;

  • English - advanced level.


What will you do

  • You will be in charge for the department which is responsible to acquire new and manage existing partners of many kinds (3rd party (independent brokers), tied agents assurbanking; or other out of the branches activities); You will do these activities on your own as well;

  • You will elaborate and regularly update the detailed plan of implementation (tactic) of the Alternative Sales Channels Directorate strategy;

  • You will be responsible for sales and profitability results, plus portfolio quality and meeting regulatory requirements;

  • You will manage a team of senior professionals (key account managers, experts, team leader);

  • You will establish long lasting friendly relationship with the collaborating units of the Bank, including branches, loan operations, risk. You will ensure efficient, smooth internal collaboration on all levels;

  • You will couch and develop your team in both external and internal activities (external hunting, farming, internal collaborations);

  • You and your team will support the branches in their partner hunting and farming activities.

  • You will identify new market opportunities, based on market analysis and reports on competition, clients’ needs and the feedback from the partners’ network and consequently decide the solutions in order to give the Bank a competitive position in the market;

  • You will monitor the cross sell activity (including cross selling with OTP subsidiaries) and identify improvement solutions;

  • You will initiate and participate in marketing activities regarding alternative sales channels.
